Bangladesh U-19 cricket team will begin their tour of New Zealand Friday with a warm-up match against local opposition, prior to their five-game youth ODI series against their New Zealand counterparts.
The five youth ODIs will all be held at Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln, Christchurch on September 29, October 2, 6, 9 and 13 respectively.
Prior to their departure, Bangladesh U-19 captain Akbar Ali said, "I think everybody is thinking positively. There are five one-dayers in this series and everyone is thinking about how we can win it."
The junior Tigers will be confident heading into the series after contesting the final of the U-19 Asia Cup against India where they lost agonizingly by five runs earlier this month in Sri Lanka.
