Nasir Hossain emerged as the hero as he scored a not out 112-run innings to help his side Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi reach 239-4 in 48.4 overs replying Prime Bank Cricket Club’s 236 to win the match by six wickets.
Prime Bank lost their captain Anamul Haque in the very first ball of the innings after losing the toss. But, other opener Rubel Mia and Naman Ojha formed a 121-run partnership to curve the early loss.
But after their departure the side saw a horrendous collapse as they were reduced to 140 for 7 from 121 for 1.
Sheikh Jamal spin duo Elias Sunny and Tanbir Hyder did the damage picking up three wickets apiece.

Ariful Haque played a brilliant innings of 74 off just 51 balls to help his side reach 236 in 48.3 overs but that proved inadequate at the end of the day.
In reply, Sheikh Jamal reached their target with 8 balls to spare riding in Nasir Hossain’s superb innings and a well made 67 by opener Sunny.
Nasir struck 12 boundaries and three sixes in his 110-ball innings to navigate his side to shore but Sunny was adjudged man of the match for his all-round performance.
