Key moments
Sabbir goes early
Sabbir Rahman’s average performance in the BPL continued as he managed to score only one off three balls against the Kings.
He was trapped in front by spinner Arafat Sunny as Rajshahi made a solid start.
Sabbir has scored only one fifty-plus innings in his nine innings for Sylhet so far this season.
Roy makes his mark
Sylhet replaced David Warner with English opener Roy in the middle stage of this season’s BPL and he played his first match yesterday.
The right-hander came out to bat at No 3 and scored 42 off just 28 balls with four fours and two sixes before being cleaned up by spinner Sekkugge Prasanna.
Evans blow for Kings
The in-form Laurie Evans scored just one run against the Sixers and got out in the first over which created pressure for the Kings while chasing 181.
Evans tried to clear the boundary over mid-off and was caught nicely by Nawaz against the bowling of Tanvir.
Nawaz triple strike in one over
Sixers spinner Mohammad Nawaz bowled tight lines and lengths to check the run rate in the middle part of the innings and even took three wickets in the same over.
His triple strike came in the 15th over of the innings where he took the wicket of Fazle, Christiaan Jonker and Mehedi Hasan Miraz.
BPL standing
Rajshahi have now lost five games this season, and have eight points.
They will face Chittagong Saturday.
Sylhet have six points after nine matches and will play against Khulna Titans Saturday.
