All-rounder Shakib al Hasan played an important innings for the Tigers in the middle part of the innings, helping them to a challenging total of 255.
Shakib arrived to the crease in the 24th over, and later formed a 61-run partnership with all-rounder Mahmudullah for the fourth wicket.
The Windies made a good comeback later, and took the wickets of Mahmudullah and the left-handed Soumya Sarkar after the 40-over mark.
Shakib then survived in the second ball of the 45th over as he was caught at midwicket but seamer Oshane Thomas had overstepped. Shakib was batting on 46 then.

The left-hander utilised the opportunity as he struck a sixer off the free hit next ball, and scored two more boundaries in that particular over.
The left-hander went on to register his 40th ODI fifty with some quick runs before getting out.
Shakib, who could have been out for 46, eventually scored 65 off just 62 balls before being cleaned up by pacer Kemar Roach in the last ball of the 47th over. Those few extra runs helped the Tigers get past the 250-mark.
