The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) draft has been delayed. Due to unavoidable circumstances it will now happen on 28th October instead of 25th October according to the BPL governing council. But it is understood that the decision was based on Zimbabwe series schedule.
The 2nd One Day International (ODI) is on 24th and 3rd ODI is on the 26th and given that both matches will be in Chittagong Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials will be busy with the series and will not be able to make time for the draft simultaneously.
However, the Test series between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe starts on November 3rd and as there is a decent gap between the ODI and Test series, it is understood that the BPL governing council decided to have draft on 28th October.
