Windies to tour Bangladesh in November

The West Indies cricket team are set to tour Bangladesh in November this year. The BCB in a press release Wednesday confirmed the itinerary of the series. The series will be Bangladesh’s second at home this year.

The Windies in their first tour of Bangladesh since 2012 will play two Test matches, three ODIs and as many T20Is against the Tigers.

The series will begin with the first Test in Chittagong’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Cricket Stadium on November 22. The second and final Test will be at played in Dhaka at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, starting November 30.

The first two ODIs will be played in Mirpur on December 9 and 11 while the third and final ODI will be held at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on December 14.

The first T20I will be played in Sylhet on December 17. The second and third T20I will be held in Mirpur on December 20 and 22.

The West Indies in their last tour of Bangladesh had played two Tests, five ODIs and a solitary T20I. The Caribbean side won the Test series 2-0 but conceded the ODI series 3-2. The lone T20I was won by the West Indies.
