Mahdee Islam, son of former Bangladesh cricket team captain Aminul Islam Bulbul, has been chosen to represent Australia U-15 side at the Junior World Series Of Indoor Cricket in New Zealand, scheduled to be held later this year.
Seamer-allrounder Mahdee was rewarded for his performances at the 2018 Indoor Cricket National Championship, which concluded recently in Toowoomba, Queensland.
Four teams – Australia U-13 boys, U-15 boys, U-17 boys and U-17 girls - were drafted choosing the best players from the Indoor Cricket National Championship and Mahdee was named in the Australia U-15 boys’ side.
The Junior World Series Of Indoor Cricket will be held from September 26 to October 7.
