Sabbir in trouble yet again

Bangladesh batsman Sabbir Rahman has put himself in hot water once again with the BCB, reports Cricbuzz.

The right-handed batsman has now been reported of assaulting his Bangladesh team mate Mehedi Hasan Miraz. As a consequence, he was dropped for the third and final T20I against Afghanistan Thursday at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun, India.

According to reports, Sabbir first got involved with Miraz in a verbal argument. At one point in the argument, Sabbir ended up landing a slap on Miraz. The incident ended with the intervention of other cricketers who were witnesses to the incident. The incident has irked a few BCB high-ups given that Sabbir is already serving a ban from domestic competition for assaulting a fan.

It is understood that Bangladesh team manager for the Afghanistan T20Is, Khaled Mahmud, did not mention the incident in his report to keep Sabbir from getting into more trouble.

Sabbir was earlier heavily fined and banned from domestic cricket after found guilty of raising hands on a spectator during a first-class game earlier this year.
