India-Bangladesh only Test: Moments of the day

Kamrul the wall

As Bangladesh were losing all of their batsmen, the intention shifted totally to survival, rather than chasing the target. The Tigers were eventually unsuccessful in achieving either of the aforementioned targets. But Bangladesh pacer Kamrul Islam Rabbi, who remained unbeaten at the end, came back to the dressing room with his reputation enhanced. The right-arm pacer scored only three but faced 70 balls, denying the Indian bowlers his wicket on many an occasion.

Jadeja shows the day

Having removed middle-order batsman Shakib al Hasan in the third over of the final day, India left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja gave a hint of what was to come for Bangladesh. Jadeja is known for his nagging accuracy and he duly lived upto to his reputation as he landed the ball on the little patch of rough on countless occasions. There was a massive explosion of dust as the ball went on to hit Shakib's top glove before landing safely in the hands of Cheteshwar Pujara at short leg.
