BU, SEU seal super eight spots in ULAB Fair Play Cup

Bangladesh University defeated Stamford University Bangladesh by 34 runs while South East University defeated BRAC University by eight wickets in their 11th ULAB Fair Play Cup Inter Private University Cricket Tournament matches at ULAB Sports Field in Mohammadpur Wednesday. In the first match of the day, BU won the toss and decided to bat first. BU scored 156 losing eight wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. In reply, SUB made 122 for the loss of all of their wickets in 19 overs. Uday Bhuiyan of BU posted 68 off 43 balls and was adjudged man of the match.

In the second match, BRACU won the toss and decided to bat first and were all out for only 93 in 19 overs. In reply, SEU reached the target losing only two wickets in just 12 overs. Mahbubur Rahman of SEU registered 51 off 43 balls and was named man of the match.
