Prime University, European University win in ULAB Fair Play CUP

Prime University defeated Uttara University by 55 runs and Green University of Bangladesh beat European University of Bangladesh by 21 runs in their 11th ULAB Fair Play Cup Inter Private University Cricket Tournament matches at ULAB Play Ground in Mohammadpur Tuesday. In the first match of the day, PU won the toss and decided to bat first. PU scored 217 runs losing four wickets in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, UU made 162 for the loss of eight wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. Imran Hossain of PU posted 80 from 47 balls while Arman Abdullah registered an unbeaten 63 off 28 balls. Imran was adjudged man of the match. In the second game of the day, EUB won the toss and decided to bat first. EUB scored 210 runs for four in 20 overs. In reply, GUB managed to score 189 for eight in 20 overs. Mujahidul Islam of EUB scored 87 off 59 balls and became man of the match. Stamford University Bangladesh will face Bangladesh University while South East University take on BRAC University Wednesday at the same venue.
