ULAB clinch 10th ULAB Fair Play Cup 2017

Batting first, ULAB posted 190 runs for four wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. Player and batsman of the tournament Mohammad Hasanuzzaman made a brilliant 45-ball 76 while Noman scored 38 from 31 balls. In reply, IUB registered 160 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Rafsan top-scored with 49 from 44 balls. Imran bagged four wickets and was later adjudged player of the match. Niloy was named fielder of the tournament while ULAB's Anjum Ahmed was adjudged bowler of the tournament. Former Bangladesh captain Habibul Bashar was present in the closing ceremony as chief guest. ULAB board of trustees' vice president Kazi Anis Ahmed and professor and vice chancellor Imran Rahman were also present during the programme. ULAB pro-vice chancellor and professor HM Jahirul Haque, registrar and professor Akhtar Ahmed and board of trustees' member Juditha Ohlmacher gave away the prizes to the winner. A total of 12 private universities – BRAC University, North South University, IUB, University of Asia Pacific, Eastern University, Southeast University, United International University, State University Bangladesh, Green University Bangladesh, Stamford University Bangladesh, International University of Business Agriculture and Technology and host ULAB - participated in the tournament.
