Shakib ruled out of Nidahas T20I series

Bangladesh T20I captain Shakib al Hasan has been ruled out of the Nidahas T20I series, featuring host Sri Lanka and India, after the all-rounder failed to recover from a finger injury. The BCB confirmed this through a press release Saturday morning. All-rounder Mahmudullah will lead the side in Shakib's absence. Wicketkeeper-batsman Liton Das has replaced Shakib in the squad.

Earlier, the selectors included Shakib with the hope that the all-rounder will be fit in time for the Nidahas series.
