Mashrafe, Anamul keep Abahani on top

Mashrafe bin Mortaza's fifer and Anamul Haque's century kept Abahani Limited's winning streak intact. The side defeated Lt. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Thursday to maintain their top position in the Dhaka Premier League points table with five wins in as many games. Meanwhile, Gazi Group Cricketers, inspired by three half-centuries while chasing, got their second win of the season defeating Brothers Union. Middle-order batsman Mosaddek Hossain scored 49 runs. Right-arm pacer Robiul Haque picked up three wickets for Sheikh Jamal. Later, captain Mashrafe led from the front and took five wickets to restrict Sheikh Jamal's chase on 223 in 45.3 overs. Later, left-arm spinner Mosharraf Hossain and Asif Hasan notched four and three scalps respectively to give Rupganj the edge. Doleshwar were all out for 217 runs in 47.5 overs.
