"They are aged 36-37 years old but still they are dedicated to their teams. I can say to the new and emerging players that they have a lot to learn from their dedication. Today we have the mentality to follow what Shakib [al Hasan], Tamim [Iqbal], Mashrafe and Mushfiqur [Rahim] are doing. I think there is also a lot to be learned from the two cricketers," Mashrafe had said during a press conference. Many in the Bangladesh cricket community praised the move by the national cricketers to felicitate the two players while a few opined that such an initiative should have come from the BCB.
