Steve Waugh's son Austin named in Australia squad for U-19 World Cup

Austin Waugh, son of former Australia captain Steve, has been included in the squad for the 2018 U-19 World Cup, scheduled to be hosted by New Zealand. And like his father, Austin too is an all-rounder by trade.Austin came into the limelight during the 2016 U-17 National Championship final when he struck an unbeaten century. He was also part of the Australia Youth ODI side that toured Sri Lanka earlier this year.The famous father-son link doesn't end there however. Austin will have vice captain Will Sutherland, son of Cricket Australia CEO James, as teammate. Like Austin, Will is also an all-rounder.The U-19 side will be coached by former Aussie fast bowler Ryan Harris with ex-opening batsman of Australia Chris Rogers performing his duty as the assistant coach. The U-19 World Cup will begin on January 13 and end February 3.
