Dhaka Tribune's BPL XI

The BPL T20 got a new champion Tuesday when Rangpur Riders defeated defending champion Dhaka Dynamites by 57 runs in the grand finale of the fifth edition at Mirpur sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. Rangpur joined the likes of Dhaka and Comilla Victorians in the winner's list as Mashrafe bin Mortaza and Co produced some inspiring performances in the business stage of the tournament to lift the title. Mashrafe has now won four out of five editions as captain and not surprisingly, was picked as the skipper of Dhaka Tribune's BPL XI this year. Mashrafe leads some stellar names in the line-up, comprising Rangpur's destructive opener Chris Gayle, Comilla Victorians' swashbuckling opener Tamim Iqbal, the Riders' reliable wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Mithun, the dependable Khulna Titans all-rounder Mahmudullah, maverick Dhaka all-rounder Shakib al Hasan, Dhaka's Boom Boom Afridi, consistent Khulna all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite, rising Comilla all-rounder Saifuddin, Dhaka's dangerous all-rounder Sunil Narine and the world's No 1 ODI bowler, Comilla's Hasan Ali.DT's BPL XI
