Regarding his decision to pass on the opportunity to feature for Comilla, Hafeez said, "I have decided not to go to Bangladesh to join Comilla. I want to stay back in Lahore. Before appearing for my bio-mechanic test at an ICC-accredited laboratory, I want to work on my bowling action."
