Khulna all set for opening game in BPL T20 2017

Khulna Titans will begin their BPL T20 2017 campaign today at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium when they take on defending champion Dhaka Dynamites in the evening match at 7pm. On the eve of their first match in the fifth edition of the money-spinning tournament, the Titans’ players practised hard at Sylhet District Stadium yesterday afternoon.

Khulna reached the elimination round last year in their very first season in the BPL. This year they have formed a well balanced side and will no doubt challenge for the title. Head coach Mahela Jayawardene was seen operating practice yesterday as the whole team took part in an intense practice session under the hot sun.

Australia opener Michael Klinger and the West Indies’ Chadwick Walton were seen batting in the nets for a long time.
