Mashrafe congratulates Bangladesh

Bangladesh ODI captain Mashrafe bin Mortaza congratulated the Tigers for registering a historic 20-run win over Australia in the Dhaka Test match, which finished in three-and-a-half days. Led by all-rounder Shakib al Hasan with both bat and ball and opening batsman Tamim Iqbal with the willow, the Tigers went 1-0 up in the two-Test series. Veteran pacer Mashrafe took to social media to praise the triumphant Bangladesh cricketers. “Tamim, you brilliant, may be one of the best openers in the world. Taijul [Islam] great bowling mate, [Mehedi Hasan] Miraz you rock, Mushi (Mushfiqur Rahim) played a little but effective captain's knock. Others supported very well on the field,” said Mashrafe. “Shakib you are a living legend. Mate you are born for 22 yards. Joy Bangla & Eid Mubarak to all,” the Bangladesh ODI captain added. Mashrafe has not been a part of the Bangladesh Test side for a long time now due to injury concern. The last time the Narail Express played a Test for Bangladesh was in 2009, away in the West Indies.
