England cruise to the final

England have cruised to the final spot of ICC World Twenty20 after beating New Zealand by seven wickets at Feroz Shah Kotla cricket ground in Delhi.

A magnificent team effort from the mid-point when they started to strangle the New Zealand innings. Jason Roy then led off the chase in style.

After losing two wickets in two consecutive Black Cap deliveries. England completed their journey to the much desired final without much fuss at all.

Willey trumped geographies to swing the ball, Guptill's strokeplay parried Kiwis into rapid waters, and then Willey bagged an early medallion in the form of Guptill.

A brisk 50-run partnership between Munro and Williamson ensued, and the latter fell just in the nick of time to hand Anderson the launch time.

Ben Stokes (3/26) and Chris Jordan (1/24) were the pick of the bowlers for England. Moen Ali also played his part by snapping the 74-run stand between Williamson and Munro.

Colin Munro scored 46 runs off 32 balls hitting seven boundaries and a huge maximum.
