India beat Bangladesh by 1 run

India have won the crucial Super Ten match of the ICC World T20 2016 by 1 run against Bangladesh at Bangalore on Wednesday.

India set 147-run target for Bangladesh.

Bangladesh scored 145 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs.

Bangladesh needed two runs from their final three balls with four wickets in hand and contrived to lose from there. 

India win by a solitary run and so they stay alive in the tournament. They’re now up against Pakistan and Australia for one spot in the semi-final.

Batsman Shakib Al Hasan was sent back to pavilion by Indian bowler Ashwin for 22 runs while Bangladesh Mashrafe was picked up by Jadeja after scoring 6.

Raina sent Sabbir Rahman to pavilion after a good piling of 26 runs.

Bangladesh lost openers Mohammad Mithun for 1 in the second over and Tamim Iqbal for 35.

Mustafizur Rahman picked up Jadeja for 12 and opener Rohit Sharma for 18. Mahmudullah got Yuvraj Singh for 3 while Al-Amin Hossain bagged Pandya for 15. Shuvagata Hom sent Kohli out for 24 runs.

Shakib Al Hasan picked up opener Dhawan for 23 runs. Bangladesh have won the toss and opted to bowl first against India. Tamim Iqbal returned for Bangladesh while India are unchanged.
