Opener Tamim Iqbal has scored his maiden double century in Test cricket on the 5th day of the match against visiting Pakistan in Khulna.
He struck 206 off 266 balls.
Tamim became the second Bangladeshi to hit double-ton in Test cricket. He is also the first Bangladeshi batsman to hit three centuries in consecutive Tests.
Earlier, Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim scored 200 runs against Sri Lanka in 2013.
The record opening partnership between Tamim Iqbal and Imrul kayes was stopped at 312 runs as Zulfiqar picked up Kayes for 150 runs.
Tamim also made another record of the highest third innings partnership of 312 with the other opener Imrul Kayes.
