The country's fastest man and woman frustrated in the prestigious 100m sprint events in the South Asian Games in Kathmandu Tuesday.
Shirin Akhter, the eight-time national champion whose last summer timing was 12.2s, clocked 12.32s to finish fifth, while Hasan Mia clocked 10.92s, .31s less than his previous timing, and finished at the end of the race (eighth).
Mohammad Ismail finished fifth with 10.75s.

Bangladesh athletes seemed to struggle adapting to the high altitude as Sumi Akter caught a cold sitting at the gallery after they arrived Sunday night.
The Sri Lankan athletics team in contrast, arrived two days earlier.
High jump coach Rafiqul Islam said, "It would have been better if we had come earlier. The weather made the body stiff."
