Hardik Pandya sparks buzz ahead of India-Pakistan match with girlfriend Mahieka

A high-voltage India–Pakistan match in the T20 World Cup is set to unfold in Sri Lanka on Sunday, renewing one of cricket’s most storied rivalries.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has permitted players on this tour to be accompanied by their wives or partners.

Among those drawing attention off the field is Indian all-rounder Hardik Himanshu Pandya, who is joined by his girlfriend, Mahieka Sharma. The couple has been in the spotlight ahead of the much-awaited match, adding to the buzz surrounding the contest.

Pandya has also been making headlines beyond cricketing matters. On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the star cricketer unveiled a special tattoo dedicated to his partner — a gesture that quickly went viral on social media.

According to the team of tattoo artist Sunny Bhanushali, Pandya had initially planned a subtle tribute. However, after further discussions, the concept evolved into a more meaningful and symbolic design. Rather than featuring a single letter, the final artwork depicts two cheetahs. One symbolizes strength, confidence, and resilience, while the other circles around it, subtly forming the letter “M”, a clear reference to Mahieka. The tattoo artist described it as a symbol of a relationship in which two people amplify each other’s strength.

After his separation from his first wife, Hardik Pandya, was reportedly linked to singer Jasmin Walia. Following reports that the relationship had ended, Pandya is now said to be dating model and actress Mahieka Sharma.

Mahieka was raised in Delhi and completed her schooling at Navy Children School. She later pursued a degree in Economics and Finance. An academically accomplished student, she scored a perfect 10 CGPA in her Class 10 board examinations. During her college years, she undertook internships across diverse sectors, including economics, education, oil and gas strategy and planning.

After completing her education, Mahieka transitioned into the showbiz industry, beginning her career in acting and modelling. She appeared in a music video by Indian rapper Raftaar and went on to take on minor roles in projects such as Into the Dark, directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Orlando von Einsiedel, and PM Narendra Modi, directed by Omung Kumar and starring Vivek Oberoi in the lead role.

In addition to her acting assignments, Mahieka has also featured in advertising campaigns for several leading brands, further establishing her presence in the modelling industry.
