Bangladesh U-21 hockey team took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the five-match Test series after winning the third game 2-0 against their Oman counterparts at Maulana Bhasani National Stadium in Dhaka Friday.
Ashraful Islam broke the deadlock from a penalty corner in the ninth minute of the game.
Ashraful had the golden opportunity to make it 2-0 but his stroke ricocheted off the side bar towards safety.

The visiting side then scripted a couple of chances of their own before Saiful Alam Shishir doubled the lead in the 53rd minute.
The fourth and penultimate match will be held Saturday at the same venue, starting at 5:30pm.
The two teams earlier played out a 2-2 draw in the second game Wednesday, while the home side had won the first match 5-1 Tuesday.
