For the upcoming Cult season, Emma Roberts is confirmed to return to the American Horror Story franchise.
The anthology horror series creator Ryan Murphy confirmed the news by posting a picture of her on Instagram on Tuesday, in which the 26-year-old actress is holding up a knife with a very sinister smile.
Murphy captioned the picture, “Look who showed up on the set of Cult looking glamorous and ready for action.”
It’s yet to be revealed on which character she’ll be playing, or how many episodes she’ll appear in.
Meanwhile, the Scream Queens actress also shared a behind-the-scenes picture, saying, “I’ve joined #ahscult will you?”
Previously, she appeared in season 3, Coven, and season 4, Freak Show, during she played Madison and Maggie, respectively.
The latest instalment of the anthology series also stars Roberts’ real-life boyfriend Evan Peters, as well as other franchise favourites like Sarah Paulson, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter, Frances Conroy and Mare Winningham. The season cast also includes Billie Lourd, Colton Haynes, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Alison Pill and the most recent addition, Lena Dunham.
The seventh series of the anthology horror show will air on TV screens on September 5.
