Jon Kabir and Tisha’s troubles on social media

Rashed, played by Jon Kabir, is an outspoken man with a molten temper. On the other hand, his folks are worried about him not doing a job and not getting married. His anger gets out of control to the point that he scolds the man taking his job interview. Seeing him without a job or a bride, his parents took him to meet a potential bride. Despite the Bengali social norms, Rashed’s uncontrolled rage didn’t stop him from storming out of there after a small rant. Later on, he goes to a restaurant where he is accidentally, captured in the background of a selfie taken by a girl who is social media conscious, played by Tisha. The selfie goes viral on social media, which becomes a burden for both Rashed and the girl. The rest of the film was followed by a series of humorous incidents, which kept the film entertaining. It made a mockery of a few things which the masses do in the age of social media. It shows how some people are more concerned about their social media image, starting from the number of likes and comments to how they appear in the pictures they upload. On the other hand, you might also come across some people who have become social media celebrities despite trying their best to not become one, while others try really hard to make content in order to become famous. Even though the film had two big stars cast as the lead, the production quality was below par. But that itself added another dimension, to its presentation. The performances were solid, if not Oscar-worthy. Tisha showed a good presence, but it was Jon Kabir who stole the spotlight. He owned every scene he was in, in way, it felt like as if he was playing himself. It appears that the musician is a natural actor.
