Wahaj visited Bangladesh to attend the closing program of Emira: The Wedding Chapter, a two-day wedding and lifestyle exhibition held at the United Convention Centre in Dhaka on October 2 and 3.
The actor had announced his visit in a video message, saying he was looking forward to meeting his Bangladeshi fans. Organizers described him as a personal guest at the event.
During the program, Wahaj and Faria appeared together at a fashion presentation. Faria later shared photographs of the two actors on Facebook, saying she had walked in a Jamdani-inspired outfit representing Bangladesh’s heritage.
The photographs quickly circulated on social media, drawing attention from fans of both actors.
Wahaj is particularly popular among Bangladeshi audiences for his portrayal of Murtasim Khan in Tere Bin, which premiered in 2022 and starred him opposite Yumna Zaidi. The drama gained a large following across South Asia.
Wahaj began his television career in 2015 with Ishq Ibadat. He later appeared in dramas including Dil Nawaz, Fitoor and Ishq Jalebi.
He also portrayed Bangladeshi freedom fighter Shafi Imam Rumi in the 2021 historical drama Jo Bichar Gaye.
His performance as Murtasim Khan in Tere Bin brought him wider recognition across South Asia.
Faria, meanwhile, continues to work in Bangladeshi cinema and television. While her appearance with Wahaj has prompted fan speculation about a possible collaboration, no such project has been officially announced.
