Russian House in Dhaka marks 11 years of Crimea reunification

The Russian House in Dhaka marked the 11th anniversary of the reunification of Crimea with Russia by hosting special screenings of the RT documentary “Crimea’s Renaissance” at its cinema hall on Saturday and Monday.

The documentary, created by RT correspondent Dmitry Khrustalev, presented the transformation of Crimea over the past decade. Through documentary footage and personal stories, the film highlighted developments in infrastructure, energy systems, healthcare facilities, and the restoration of historical and cultural landmarks across the peninsula.

The film also featured reflections from Crimean residents, including chess grandmaster Sergey Karyakin and Pavel Plekhanov, who shared their perspectives on life and progress in the region.

The screenings offered audiences in Dhaka an opportunity to learn more about the recent history, cultural heritage, and natural beauty of the Black Sea peninsula.
