After the storm, NewJeans reunites and fans rejoice

K-pop sensation NewJeans has officially returned to their original label ADOR, following a months-long legal dispute that gripped fans and industry insiders alike.

The group’s youngest members, Haerin and Hyein, were the first to announce their decision to rejoin the company after a court ruling upheld the validity of their exclusive contracts.

As news of their return spread across social media, fellow members Minji, Danielle, and Hanni also confirmed their comeback, signaling a full-group reunion.

Their legal teams shared that the decision came after careful internal discussions, reigniting hope among fans for future group activities.

Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin, who had been at the center of the controversy, responded with grace and emotion.

In a statement shared by Sports Kyunghyang, she said: “I cherish the courage of the members who have decided to hold hands together again to protect each other… I think NewJeans should remain together as a group of five members, no matter the situation.”

While ADOR has yet to announce official plans for NewJeans’ next chapter, fans have flooded social media with celebratory messages, welcoming the group’s return.

Whether the members will pursue solo ventures under the same label remains to be seen—but for now, the five-piece ensemble is back where it began, and the stage is set for a new beginning.
