Mehazabien’s latest feature film “Priyo Maloti” has been officially selected for the the International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
Directed by Shankha Dasgupta, the film has already made a name of itself by wowing audiences at film festivals across the globe. It is set to compete in the Cinema of the World category at 55th IFFI. This was confirmed on the festival’s official site.
The festival will take place from November 20 to 28 in the city of Goa, and the film will be screened at the Panjim Auditorium-4 on November 27.
Director Shankha Dasgupta also sheared this news on his facebook page, writeing “Priyo Maloti travels to its 2nd Film Festival! It is selected in India’s prominent film festival IFFI Goa!”
OTT platform Chorki also wrote on their official facebook, “Priyo Maloti shines bright! Our beloved film, Priyo Maloti, has been officially selected for the prestigious International Film Festival of India (IFFI) after its successful run at the Cairo International Film Festival. Let's celebrate this incredible achievement together!”
“Priyo Maloti” was also selected for the Cairo International Film Festival which started on November 13 and will end on November 22.
