'Boli' (The Wrestler) was released in Canada on September 29. The film won the highest New Currents Award at the 28th Busan International Film Festival, one of the world's notable awards for cinema.
The sudden release of the movie that created the interest of the audience has created curiosity among the film lovers. The director of the movie Iqbal Hossain Chowdhury said that it will run for a week in Canada. He also hinted at when the film will be released in the country.
Iqbal Hossain said, "We are releasing the film in a limited scale. Canadian audiences will be able to watch the movie for a week. We have also submitted the movie to Bangladesh Censor Board. It will be released in Bangladesh as soon as it gets censor clearance certificate. We are thinking of releasing the movie on a bigger scale."
'Boli' (The Wrestler) won the national film grant in the financial year 2020-21. The film is produced by Piplu R Khan. Nasir Uddin Khan played the lead role. Apart from this, Priyam Archi, Angel Noor, AKM Itmam and others also acted in crucial roles.
