TM films announced Raihan Rafi and Tanim Rahman Angshu as directors for their upcoming films.
A venture of Kaushik Hossain Taposh and Farzana Munny, the minds behind Gaan Bangla TV, TM films’ launch was delayed due to the pandemic. Officially announced during the Gaan Bangla TV’s “Music for Peace Concert” in September 2019.
Munny, the chairperson of the film production house said, “We know the love that Bangladeshi audiences have for films. We have undertaken the goal of producing international quality films to make the most of that love. Both Angshu and Rafi have already made their presence felt on the big screen as proven filmmakers. I welcome them to TM films– I hope something amazing is waiting for us.”
The announcement of this new film marks Tanim Rahman Angshu’s return to the big screen after four years of making the National Film Award-winning “Nodorai”.
Angshu expressed his happiness at the announcement, “I am a part of the TM family, so the happiness heightened.”
Raihan Rafi stated, “"Through Gaan Bangla, they have already taken Bangladesh to a unique height in the international arena. I firmly believe that something similar is going to happen this time as well, with film. My upcoming film, under their production, will be one of the best of my career. The audience will be face to face with a terrifyingly beautiful experience.”
