The country's apex trade organization, the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) has completed its 50 years of being active in the business market.
Since its establishment, the country's trade, industries and factories have gradually developed. Due to this, Bangladesh today has reached the threshold of a middle income country.
A theme song was created to tell the story of the 50th anniversary of the institution and the prosperity of Bangladesh. The song is written by National Film Award winning lyricist Zulfiqer Russell and composed by Mir Masum. Other than the composer, artists Pantha Kanai, Tashfee, Abanti Sithi and Nasrin Nasha have contributed to the song.
Regarding this particular song, lyricist Zulfiqer Russell said, "It is the theme song of FBCCI's 50th anniversary. And I got to write the lyrics for it. It's really a great pleasure and honor because this organization is called the backbone of the economy of Bangladesh. As a result, composing songs for such organizations is like a serious responsibility. I tried to do my best here. Composer Mir Masum, video maker Tanveer Khan and those who gave the voice - everyone did it out of their own sense of responsibility. I express my gratitude to everyone associated with the song, including FBCCI.”
Meanwhile, the story behind the creation of the song was revealed in a conversation with composer Mir Masum. According to him, it has become like a reality show which was a very difficult test for him. Masum said, 'Many people have submitted demos for this song. Luckily, we were selected. It does not end here. I had to do three tunes on this lyric by Russell Bhai, which means three tunes of the same lyric. Then we revealed the finalized piece. So all in all, it's like a reality show for me. And I managed to conquer that.'
Mir Masum thanked FBCCI for this song, lyricist Zulfiqar Russell and producer Tanveer Khan expressed their enthusiasm. In his words, 'In fact, it is a matter of luck to get the opportunity to create the theme song for such a top organization. And if that song is written by a person like Russell Bhai, then I am doubly lucky. Because A.R Rahman also sang his words. It has been a long time dream of singing with Russell Bhai. Now it has been fulfilled. We hope to do more in the future. And the video of the song was produced by Tanveer Khan who always keeps me under his shade of guidance and support. I am forever grateful to him. All the artists who have sung the song are very talented, except me, and they have proved it.”
