‘Feluda’ famed Sabyasachi coming to Dhaka for DIFF

Popular Indian actor Sabyasachi Chakraborty will attend the 21st edition of Dhaka International Film Fest organized by Rainbow Film Society.  In a short video on social media, he announced his plan to attend the film fest.

This veteran actor performed in Fakhrul Arefin Khan's “JK 1971,” which is going to be screened at DIFF 2023. “JK 1971” is based on the true story of Jean Kay, a Frenchman, who hijacked a plane to support Bangladesh during the Liberation War.

Rainbow Film Society has been organizing Dhaka International Film Festival since 1992 to shape a healthy and positive national film culture. DIFF is a bold expression of resistance against the decadence, vulgarity and cheap commercialism that pervades the mainstream Bangladesh film industry.

The 21st edition of Dhaka International Film Festival will be inaugurated on January 14, 2023. With the general theme “Better Film, Better Audience and Better Society,” this version of DIFF will screen 254 films from 70 countries. All the film screenings will be held at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Bangladesh National Museum Auditorium =, Alliance Francaise, and Star Cineplex.
