Trailer of “Din: The Day” was released on June 19 at 7pm on the verified page of actor Ananta Jalil. The 3:17mins long trailer features a host of foreign casts, along with AJ’s wife, actor Afiea Nusrat Barsha.
It’s abundantly clear from the trailer that the business tycoon spared no expenses in this labour of love. However, what is not clear is why AJ keeps bringing up Rohingya refugees in a mission in Afghanistan or what the mission entails for that matter.
This is Ananta’s comeback film after a eight year hiatus. His last film was “Most Welcome 2” which came out in 2014.
In a video message earlier this week, the couple asked audiences to watch their film in theatres. Ananta also declared he will stand by the flood affected people in Sylhet.
“I’ve decided I will not sacrifice 8-12 cows this Eid. Instead I will sacrifice just one or two and use the rest of the ‘Kurbani’ money to donate to flood victims,” the actor said in a video message.
Directed by debutant Iranian director Murtaza Otash Jamjam, the film is set to release in theatres on Eid-ul-Azha.
