The trailer of director Mejbaur Rahman Sumon’s much-anticipated film "Hawa" dropped on Tuesday evening, June 7, 2022.
The film marks Sumon’s directorial debut.
The star-studded cast features Chanchal Chowdhury, Sariful Razz, Shohel Mondol, Nasir Uddin Khan and Sumon Anowar in key roles.
“Hawa” was in development for three years. The pandemic further delayed its release.
Filming began in October, 2019 and almost entirely took place at the coral island of Saint Martin.The plot revolves around a group of fishermen who venture into the deep sea with a trawler and explore the prevalent sea mythologies.
Produced by Sun Music and Motion Pictures Limited, the film was shot by "Monpura" cinematographer SA Kamrul Hasan Khasru.
The trailer was unveiled on "Hawa" team's official Facebook page and Facecard Production's official YouTube channel.
