Quentin Tarantino, who is not only a renowned filmmaker and screenwriter, but also an ardent movie buff with great admiration for film history, is now back with a new non-fiction book, titled “Cinema Speculation.”
The book will reportedly blend "film criticism, film theory, a feat of reporting, and wonderful personal history."
The official synopsis from HarperCollins reads: “in addition to being among the most celebrated of contemporary filmmakers, Quentin Tarantino is possibly the most joyously infectious movie lover alive. For years he has touted in interviews his eventual turn to writing books about films. Now, with ‘Cinema Speculation,’ the time has come, and the results are everything his passionate fans — and all movie lovers — could have hoped for.”

Previously, Tarantino had adapted his revisionist film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” into a novel, which followed Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) “both forward and backward in time.”
“In the seventies, movie novelizations were the first adult books I grew up reading. And to this day I have a tremendous amount of affection for the genre as a movie-novelization aficionado,” said Tarantino.
“Cinema Speculation” will be available at the bookstores on October 25, 2022.
