Kolkata’s emerging musical talent Ishan Mitra released a new song, “Bari Jabo Bari Jacchi,” on May 9.
The song is dedicated to Bengali diaspora, scattered all around the world, who share a strong devotion to their motherland, bolstered by the pandemic-induced alienation.
“Bari Jabo Bari Jacchi” was penned by prominent Bangladeshi composer and lyricist Asif Iqbal.
The music video was directed by Bangladeshi filmmaker Taneem Rahman Angshu and produced under the banners of Gaanchill Music.

Ishan had previously lent voice to a song for telefilm “Shesh Porjonto” which marked the singer’s first project in Bangladesh.
Ishan’s songs were also featured in popular films “Bidaay Byomkesh,” “Dracula Sir,” “Montu Pilot” and others.
“Bari Jabo Bari Jacchi”is currently available on all major audio streaming platforms and Gaanchill’s official YouTube channel.
