Shabana and Moushumi meet with the PM

Iconic film actress Shabana met with the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office on Monday accompanied by other film personalities, including Moushumi. Filmmaker Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar revealed a picture of the PM along with the actresses on social media which went viral. Gulzar posted a text along with the picture on Facebook that states: “It’s a memorable day of my life. I will never forget the moment of meeting with our honourable leader Sheikh Hasina. Shabana apa, Alamgir bhai [actor], Wahid Sadik bhai [film producer and husband of Shabana], Moushumi and me went to meet with the Prime Minister.” Gulzar, who is also the President of Bangladesh Film Directors Association, continued: “Soon after seeing Shabana apa, the Prime Minister welcomed the actress and hugged her. Shabana apa embraced the honourable Prime Minister too. Moushumi was standing just by them. Then the Prime Minister turned to her and hugged her too.” In his post, Gulzar also informed that the Prime Minister has decided to provide the expenses for the treatment of filmmaker Azizur Rahman, who is currently being at a hospital in Singapore because of his heart complications. Currently living in the US, Shabana came to the country last month. This is first time the iconic actress has been photographed since her visit.
