Brad thinks he can’t dance

Brad Pitt was in India on May 25 for the promotions of his new film, War Machine. This Hollywood superstar landed in the city for a media interaction about his film and he was joined by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
The candid interview that was hosted by acclaimed film critic Rajeev Masand and saw the global superstars speaking about everything ranging from their careers to love to the impact of Netflix on the film industry. Commenting on the evolution of filmmaking, Brad Pitt said, “With the business model for the studio system in Hollywood, they just can’t make films like these any more. Print and advertising is so expensive. From a viewer’s perspective more films are getting made. It’s a renegade new resurgence of filmmaking.”
On a lighter note, besides films, Shah Rukh Khan joked about Brad Pitt joining Bollywood to which the star replied, “I can never do a Bollywood film because I can’t dance.”
Pitt went on to speak about his transition from acting to being a producer, “As I get older, (acting) is a big commitment. There are long days. It’s a big time away from family. More and more I find myself concentrating on the production side. And I find it really rewarding to open doors for filmmakers,” he continued. “Often a gamble is where it pays off. We’ve been able to do that with our production company.”
The film was released on Netflix on May 26 and is said to be the biggest film by the entertainment company till date. This one’s a definite must watch this weekend.
Earlier, in April 2017, Netflix released the trailer of its home production film, War Machine, which got people talking about Brad Pitt’s powerful performance in the film. The film is based on the book The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan by the late Michael Hastings.
