Rawshan JamilRawshan Jamil’s brilliant acting in Jibon Theke Neya by Zahir Raihan is still unbeatable. She has been unparalleled in donning the mother character in numerous films. Some of Rawshan Jamil’s more popular television drama serials include the likes of Humayun Ahmed’s Dhakay Thaki and Sakal Sandhya. She was also praised for her superb performance on stage in Gorkir Ma.
The veteran received several awards for her contribution to the stage and film fraternity like the prestigious National Film Award, the Bangladesh Film Journalist Association Award, Tarakalok Puruskar and so on. She received the Ekushey Padak for dance in 1995. Rawshan Jamil died on May 14, 2002.
Dilara ZamanEver since she appeared on the popular drama titled Ayomoy by Humayun Ahmed where she plays the role of a blind woman, Dilara Zaman won the hearts of one and all. Dilara Zaman has won several prestigious awards, including the Ekushey Padak and National Film Award. A familiar face in popular TV plays, her acting has only become more powerful throughout the decades. She rose to fame for her performances in Aguner Poroshmoni (1994), Tumi Ashbe Boley (2012) and Aaj Amader Chhuti (1992).
