Richard Marx to perform in Dhaka

Eminent American rock singer Richard Marx is all set to perform in Dhaka. Consumer engagement, music and entertainment company, Creinse Limited will host the event featuring the musician who has sold over a record-making 30 million records. The music company revealed that the concert will be held at International Convention Centre, Bashundhara alongside a lineup of local bands and artists on May 16.
On a Facebook post in their official page, the company wrote, “Richard Marx has 10 Billboard Top 10 songs in his list - Right Here Waiting For You, Endless Summer Night, Angelia, Hazard, Hold On To The Night, Should Have Known Better, Satisfied, Now and Forever, Children of the Night and Don’t Mean Nothing. Let’s count the days now till May 16, 2017, at BICC in Dhaka.”
The concert was also seen listed in the tour schedule on the official site of the artist.
Born in 1963, the songwriter and producer’s nearly three-decade-long career has had innumerable of highlights. The Chicago native has a stream of hit singles in the late 1980s and 1990s. The talented singer’s work includes both ballads and classic rock, such as “Don’t Mean Nothing,” “Should’ve Known Better,” “Satisfied,” and “Too Late to Say Goodbye.” Marx placed himself in the record books by being the first solo artist to have his first seven singles hit the Top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
