A group exhibition of landscapes in watercolour titled Jolokabbo 2 will open on September 18 at 5pm at the Edge Gallery. Visitors can also enjoy the landscaped garden of the gallery close to the Gulshan lake.
The artists include Alakesh Ghosh, Al-Akhir Sharkar, Anisur Rahman, Anisuzzaman, Ariful Islam, Azmeer Hossain, Biren Shome, Hamiduzzaman Khan, Jamal Ahmed, Kamruzzoha, Kauser Hossain, Mintu Dey, Monirul Islam, Nabaraj Roy, Nafiuzzaman Nafi, Nazmul Haque Bappy, Ranjit Das, Sabbir Ahmed, Samarjit Roy Chowdhury, Shakirunnahar Kanon, Sharmin Akter Lina, Shohag Parvez, Soikat Hossain, Sultan Ishtiaque, Warior Rahman Sami, and Zahangir Alom.
The budding talents featured in this exhibition have all been trained in a number of reputed art institutions, ranging from Shantiniketan and Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata, to the China Academy of Art in Zhejiang Province.
Admission is free for all. The gallery will be open every day from 10 am to 8pm at Bay’s Edgewater in Gulshan 2. The exhibition will close on October 16.
