Asad Zaman's debut feature film Jolghori-Story never dies is set to be screened at the Montgomery Film Festival in Maryland, USA.
The Mind Tune Motion Pictures production is presented by Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz.
"Jolghori" was selected by the jury of film festival, and will participate in every category. The festival will begin on September 18 and will last for a month.
Asad Zaman, who directed and produced Jolghori, told reporters: "The festival jury board selected my film for screening. I feel pride when I see a film from my country participating in the festivals of the west. Through this kind of participation, the international audience can watch our films and critique them."
Previously, the film participated in England's Lift-Off Global Network's First Time Filmmaker Session.
"Jolghori" stars Symon Sadik, Hasnat Ripon, Deepanwita Martin, Nusrat Jahan Khan Nipa, Nusrat Papia, Rusho, Jayita Mahalanobish, Humayun Rashid Samrat, Rimon Sarkar, Selim Ahmed, Iktarul Islam Iktar, Tipu, Shopon, Babul, Shahjahan Shourov, Evan, Shoab Monir, Bithey, Deepak Roy, Muna and Arif Russel.
The cinematography was by Bidrohi Dipon, and editing was by Saif Russel.
