Prova’s Eid special drama ‘Somudramanob’

Actor Sadia Jahan Prova will appear in a special drama titled “Somudramanob,” made especially for this Eid-ul-Fitr. The screenplay was written by Rudra Haque, and the drama was directed by Lipi Aich.

The drama was shot on the beaches of Cox’s Bazar and the nearby hill regions. Prova will be acting opposite Farhan Ahmed Jovan in this drama.

The story of the drama follows a dead body that washes up at the beach every day. The locals claim that all unidentified bodies look the same.

It turns out that the dead body that washes up every day has the same face. The character is seen alive on some occasions, and calls himself Somudramanob. A lot of excitement ensues regarding this matter, and Prova’s character, who came to vacation there, tries to figure out who this Somudramanob is.

Regarding the script, Rudra Haque told reporters: “The story was inspired from my poem ‘Beach Report.’ The unique story deals with the inner love that humans have towards nature. In one part of the drama, there is also a performance and exhibition of installation art, the best addition to modern art. If viewers are inspired by the drama, then I will feel successful.”

The director Lipi Aich said: “This is a very good concept. I felt good after making it. The actors were very cooperative. Prova and Jovan, both acted very well.”

The drama also stars Mahbub Shahin, Selim Reza, Firoz, a few children and several tourists.

“Somudramanob” was produced by Telehome, and it will be telecast on Desh TV on the third day of Eid at 8:45pm.
