A “Famous” feud: Kanye West and Taylor Swift battle it out

Swift famously took the stage and voiced her disapproval in her Grammy ‘Album of the year award’ speech addressing the scandalous lyrics that outraged West who claimed to have called her and received her blessing, but Tay - through her PR team - denied this conversation took place and that Kanye just called to ask if he could release the song on her twitter account.

But in the Snapchat videos, West is seen calling Swift to let her know about a line in his song “Famous” where he says “I feel like me and Taylor might still have s**/Why? I made that b**** famous." This, according to Swift's PR team, are lyrics she strongly opposed of since it sent a “strong misogynistic message.” Kim Kardashian said she had videos to prove the conversation actually took place, Taylor’s legal teams issued a cease-and-desist against the husband-wife duo.

In the Snapchat story though, Tay thanks Kanye for letting her know beforehand saying, “I really appreciate it.” And “This is so nice.” Even saying “I'm going to be on a Grammys red carpet and they're going to ask me about it and I'll be like, ‘he called me.”

Taylor swiftly responded, posting a lengthy message on Instagram accusing duo of “character assassination” claiming that she never “heard” the song and wasn’t aware she would be called “that b****.”

The drama that ensured caused a massive Twitter storm, where user @Phillipasolo says, “I want all of taylor swifts exes to come together to write one big song about her, “we are the world” style,” and user @NarryMcCuddly says, “When Kim had that video all along but waited till National snakes day to post it #Kimexposedtaylorparty”
