Rock band Sin makes grand debut with album 'Bhool'

Emerging rock band Sin released their debut album, “Bhool,” on March 30 at a ceremony in front of their friends and fans. Later, the album was made available online on various streaming apps including Gaan app, and Imagine Radio.

Listeners can find the album on the band's official YouTube channel as well.

Sin's debut album contains eight songs, and each song differs one from the other. Each song is well-composed and associated with both funky and profound lyrics. The songs represent the nation's cry for democracy and everyday life struggles.

One of great songs on the album is, "Shesh," written by Rid and Tiash. The first part of the song indulges listeners with complete rock music instantly. The vocals kick-in at 0:48 seconds. Throughout the song, the groovy drumbeats are a pleasure to the ears.

The lyrics of the song symbolize optimism. I can already tell, the song will be loved by concert crowds.

"Protiniyoto" is my favourite song from the album. I wish the scream around 0:13 seconds were longer. Again, the drumming part of this song caught my attention. I enjoyed the guitar parts as well.

I personally loved the vocals of this song. Shahrier did amazingly well on vocals in "Protiniyoto." Sin also released a music video for the song.

"Natai Nai" is comparatively a slow and melodious number. I wonder how the acoustic version of this song would sound.  The song demonstrates Shahrier's vocal skills.

"Let’s Dance” is a groovy number that will make listeners dance. The song gave me the old "GrooveTrap" vibe and the instrumentation of this song is top notch.

"Bhool," the title track of this album, reminds me of the good old days of indie rock. The song features a brilliant and funky jamming part that complements the lyrics. Some of the guitar parts give me Nemesis vibes as well. Changes in the vocals and background laughter make the song intriguing.

Most of the songs from the album were written by the band's former vocalist Shuvo while the current members also wrote a few songs.

The album is produced and mix and mastered by Ekram Wasi at "I.saw that studio" Zakir Hossain recorded the drum parts at Funk Noodles Studio. The album cover is very captivating, and is worth keeping in one's collection. Go grab your copy of the album today to support the rock band that has a lot of potential.

Formed in 2011, the current line-up of the band features: Shahriar Zaman (vocal), Shahriar Hassan Autul (drums), Junaed Kiron Tiash (bass and vocal), Samiul Shams Rid (guitar), and Michil (guitar).
