The fifth edition of the Joy Bangla Concert is being held at Bangladesh Army Stadium on Thursday.
The concert has been organized jointly by Young Bangla, a leading youth organization in the country, and the Centre for Research and Information (CRI).
The concert commemorates the historic March 7 speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, before the Liberation War of 1971.
The concert kicked off with mellow performance by Bay of Bengal. The band performed "Maa Goo Vabna Keno.”
Next band to take over the stage was Shunno. The popular band rocked the crowd with their performance on “Joy Bangla Banglar Joy.” Band Shunno’s performance was followed by another popular band Lalon.
Arbovirus engaged the audience with their popular numbers and patriotic songs.
The bands yet to perform are: Artcell, Chirkutt, Nemesis, and Cryptic Fate.
The concert will continue 11:00pm while the gates opened at 3:15pm.
Every year, CRI and Young Bangla organize this mega concert to revive the youngsters of our country with the spirit of the Liberation War.
